Got a closer look the other day. The slow drip let loose and turned into a spray. It’s the steel line on the steering rack right under the trans line. Picked up a good used one.

Tomorrow it goes on and I can drive my Lincoln again.

I just got done putting an SN95 rack and steering shaft in my VII. Now to tackle the dew wipes...

Did you find OEM replacements or do you have to get creative?

I found what were supposed to be OE replacements, but they aren’t. I’ve already stripped everything down and put new black vinyl on the edges of the trim, so I’ll have to get creative with the dew wipes.

That sucks. Jegs is SUPPOSED to have a substitute that works well with a little trimming involved. You can find the part number on one of the Mark VII specific web forums.

I’m on the hunt for belt line molding with indented metal myself.
